Pump pumps
This is now my third pump from MSW. I initially decided on the 750 watt model. Unfortunately, it broke pretty quickly (plastic check valve crumbled). But Expondo sent me a replacement very quickly. The second one lasted a good three years. It then overheated due to a problem in the pressure switch (it was constantly switching on and off) and also destroyed the start capacitor. Now I'm excited about the 550 model. I've replaced all the piping including the pressure switch etc. and hope that it will last longer now. The switching behavior and pressure are fine.

The Hillvert submersible pump is ideal for drawing clean water from deep, narrow shafts, wells, tanks and cisterns. Just the right size for garden irrigation. Works well.
To draw water from a well of about 60 m. A year and a half of use. In summer I use it between 2 and 3 hours a day. So far no problems.

We sent the pump back in its original condition (we hadn't even unpacked it). We were able to solve the problem without a new pump. What annoyed us was that we had to pay €40 for the return. Annoying! I have to give stars otherwise my rating won't go out.

The pump was delivered quickly and installed by me just as quickly. Since I wanted to save a bit of electricity, I bought the model with 550 watts, but unfortunately I discovered that the pump actually uses 960 watts. I then wrote to the seller and he replied promptly. They apologized for my inconvenience and offered me a return or a discount without much fanfare. I then chose the discount. All in all a good contact. If the pump lasts a long time, I will be very satisfied.

The control box was broken when the pump arrived, but a new one was sent quickly. Props to that. The pressure and yield may not quite match expectations, but it is good enough for my needs. The cable is only 20 meters and should be longer.

No, you should not use the pump for salt water.
Does this pump have enough pressure to allow me to irrigate my garden and water my plants?
No problem! The well pump has more than enough pressure. Within an hour, you can pump up to 6.000 litres of water.
