Compact MMA welding machine up to 160 A with LCD display
The MMA welding machine S-MMA-160D from Stamos Germany with IGBT inverter technology reliably combines performance values up to 160 A with compact design. These characteristics make the electrode welding machine not only suitable for welding in the workshop or on the factory floor, but also for repair and maintenance work outdoors.
Optimum electrode welding thanks to hot start, arc force and anti-stick
The MMA welding machine is equipped with practical and cutting-edge features which enable you to quickly produce clean, safe welds with electrodes from 1 to 4 mm. The welding current can be continuously adjusted up to 160 A with the dial and monitored on an LCD display. For a duty cycle of 100 %, the welding current is set to 71 A. The MMA welding machine does not require shielding gas, so you can work precisely even under adverse conditions, such as in high winds.
The hot start function on the MMA welder ensures an automatic and short-term increase of the welding current at the start of the welding process. This optimally and instantly heats the weld at the starting point, which prevents the electrode from sticking and guarantees stable and clean welding results from the start. The arc force and anti-stick functions further optimize the welding results. The arc force stabilises the arc to adapt it to the material and the desired density of the weld. The anti-stick function prevents the electrode from overheating and sticking to the welding material by switching off the welding current.
The air cooling and overheat protection guarantee the long-lasting functional reliability of this MIG TIG MMA welder. The VDR function ensures your safety when using the MMA method, especially when welding in humid environments. The inverter MMA welder is equipped with a shoulder strap for convenient transportation. The welding machine enables you to correctly install and maintain railings, stairs, gates, doors, containers or metal machinery. With the MMA welder, you can weld materials such as steel, iron, cast iron, nickel, copper or aluminium from 2 mm thickness.
