Precise welding results with the TIG welder from Stamos Selection
The TIG welder S-ALU 333PH's control panel is clearly arranged and is easy to use while wearing welding gloves. Four toggle switches allow you to directly choose the basic welding functions (TIG, MMA, AC, DC, 2T, 4T, Pulse). The required values for the individual welding functions can then be set by means of nine infinitely variable rotary controls. The LED display lets you keep an eye on the current amperage.
Show moreShow lessThe welding machine has a maximum power of 333 amperes with a duty cycle of 60 percent. If the power is reduced to 261 amperes, you can weld without interruption. With its high performance, the welder can even weld thicker metals up to 12 mm quickly and precisely.
Show moreShow lessThe TIG DC welding method can be used for welding more robust metals such as steel, stainless steel, copper or brass. The torch produces few sparks and spatter and guarantees pure, high quality welds that leave very little distortion. In addition, you can use the welder in various positions, whether vertical, horizontal or overhead.
Show moreShow lessThis welder gives you the option of welding with either AC or DC TIG, so you can work with either direct or alternating current, depending on the metal. Alternating current (AC) is suited for light metals such as aluminium or titanium. Direct current (DC) can be used for welding more robust metals such as steel, stainless steel, copper or brass.
Show moreShow lessThe Pulse function is particularly useful for welding thin sheets from 1 mm, especially those made of aluminium. Even under difficult conditions, the arc can be easily stabilised since the pulse frequency is adjustable up to 300 Hz. It is also possible to select numerous parameters such as start or end current for pulsed current welding, and to optimally adjust them to the workpiece with the aid of the control knob. You can adjust the pulse frequency between 0.5 and 300 Hz for stable welding results and a better cleaning effect when welding at a high frequency, for example with anodise aluminium sheets.
Show moreShow lessThe welder uses proven MOSFET inverter technology, which has an efficiency of 93% and guarantees a stable welding current. The result: Perfect welds. The welding arc is activated via reliable high-frequency ignition (HF).
Show moreShow lessMMA—flexible electrode welding without extra gas
No additional gas is required for MMA (Manual Metal Arc) welding, enabling it to be used outdoors even in strong wind. With this welding method, the welder generates a very stable current, all the while securely maintaining the voltage. This allows you to make high-quality welds on a wide variety of metals.
Show moreShow lessThe MMA welding clamps can grasp even large electrodes with a diameter of up to 4 mm. With the MMA welding method, you can weld materials such as steel, iron, cast iron, nickel or copper from 1.5 to 12 mm thick. The welding machine enables you to correctly install and maintain railings, stairs, gates, doors, containers or metal machinery.
Show moreShow lessThe electrode welder's hot start function ensures an automatic and short-term increase of the welding current at the start of the welding process. Thanks to this “hot start”, the starting point is immediately heated to the optimal temperature and the electrodes do not clog. This creates a clean, stable weld from the very first moment.
Show moreShow lessThe ARC FORCE function regulates the arc sensor and adapts it to the perfect density for the respective material. You can select the ampere strength for ARC Force using the digital control panel.
Show moreShow lessThe air cooling system and overheat protection provide this device with long-lasting reliability and durability. The handle on the sturdy metal housing makes the device easy to transport. Because of its weight, we recommend a welding trolley for longer distances.
Show moreShow lessNote: This device does not include a high voltage plug.

The welder is equipped with a MOSFET transistor. This technology represents the highest standards of performance combined with compact and lightweight design. The result is 93% efficiency! The welding current is very stable and thus ensures a perfect weld.
Show moreShow lessPowerful fans ensure an optimal removal of heat from the unit.
TIG/MIG and MAG welding require a protective gas. Inert gases, such as argon and helium, as well as active gases (for example carbon dioxide) and other mixtures can be used. The solenoid valve regulates the flow of gas. The valve is operated via a button on the torch.
Show moreShow lessOn the back of every welding machine is a screw with an earthing mark. Before use, earth the unit via a cross-section cable, which must be at least 6 mm².
This unit can also be operated using a foot pedal.
This device works with a 3-phase connection (400 V +/- 10 %).
If welding with more than 200 A it is recommend that a cooler is used. The connections of the welding device and the cooler-lines are marked accordingly with colours.
A non-contact high-frequency ignition in TIG mode ensures a cleaner weld starting point.
This is the time taken from the moment of pressing the torch button to that of the electric arc igniting. During this process the solenoid valve opens and the released gas pushes the oxygen from the gas lines and in doing so, forms a protective atmosphere for the arc.
Show moreShow lessValue of the arc ignition output current. This current can be adjusted at will. For precision welding, it is recommended to start with reduced power, weld smoothly and eventually adjust the current accordingly.
Show moreShow lessThe time taken of the output welding current to lower to that of the terminal current.
The time after the weld is finished in which gas continues to flow from the torch; this cools the burner and protects the weld from oxidation.
This function reduces the heat to the material. It is primarily suitable for welding thin plates. If MIG welding is used, it is perfect for aluminium welding.
The frequency of impulses during pulse mode.
The maximum value of the electric current while in pulse mode.
The current which maintains the arc while in pulse mode.
This is the percentage difference of the time between the positive and negative direction of the current during a welding period. This feature allows control of the width of the welding seam and the depth of penetration.
Show moreShow lessThis is the percentage difference of the time between the positive and negative direction of the current during a welding period.
Start the weld by placing pressure on the torch button. Stop the process by releasing the button.
By pressing the torch button the solenoid valve opens. allowing the gas to flow in. The gas pre-flow ignites the arc at the pre-set current. Releasing the burner button initiates a rise in the current to that of the pre-set welding current. The welding process stops once you press the burner button again.
Show moreShow lessThrough automatically boosting the tension at the ignition of the arc, this function facilitates the electrical arc ignition. After ignition, the unit automatically returns to the pre-set voltage.
Show moreShow lessThe current value increases automatically when the arc is shorter.
This function helps to prevent overheating of the electrode by switching off the welding current when the electrode sticks to the material.
A welding method in which the arc is maintained through an electrical current supplied from a non-consumable electrode. The arc is protected from the access of air by an inert gas.
