The Pro Bauteam Alucutter is the ideal hot-wire cutter for hard foam such as polystyrene or Styrofoam for insulation, renovation and building refurbishment on medium and large objects. With the transport case you always have the Alucutter at hand. The hot wire cutter can effortlessly cut even large sheets of insulation with a cutting length of 1,350 mm and a cut depth of up to 330 mm. The side support prevents large hard foam sheets from slipping.

The powerful 200 W transformer heats up the cutting wire in just 1 - 2 seconds and guarantees continuous use when needed. When cutting, the wire glides effortlessly along the guide rail through the insulation material, enabling you to make straight, smooth and clean cuts without frustration. Cutting with millimetre precision is possible with the Alucutter thanks to the ability to fine-tune the cutting length, depth and angle. The long support with scale can be tilted so that mitres can be cut both horizontally and vertically.

The transformer with protection class IP68 is waterproof, and the electrical connections between transformer and frame meet industry standard XLR and are splashproof—rain and moisture don't stand a chance. A fold-out foot and frame bracket are integrated into this professional polystyrene cutter, giving the styrofoam cutter stability at any jobsite or on any scaffold, and can be set up in just a few steps. The sturdy and weatherproof powder-coated aluminium construction makes the polystyrene cutter a lightweight that can be safely stored in the case for transport.

The foam cutting tool's depth stop and bracket guarantee that the material fits levelly and securely even when cutting at a slant. The styrocutter is equipped with a pre-installed stop which helps you to quickly and precisely repeat the same cuts again and again. The Alucutter comes with five Styrogrips with which you can easily grip and position the cut insulation pieces. Delivery also includes a practical rasp.
