Flexible welding with the combined welder from welbach

With the combined welder PROXUS 200 with IGBT inverter technology, you have the right welding process on hand for every metalworking task. With or without gas, thin sheets or robust steel girders, on the construction site or in the workshop, with MIG/MAG, TIG lift or MMA welding processes, this welder has all the options for efficiently and safely welding metals together.

The welbach combined welder with digital control panel

Selecting the parameters is very convenient thanks to the combined welding machine's clearly arranged control panel. The knobs and buttons for selecting functions and welding parameters are easily accessible and a breeze to use even when wearing welding gloves. The intuitive menu navigation makes it easy to set the welding parameters. All selected parameters are clearly visible on the LED display. In addition, you can effortlessly switch between 2-stroke and 4-stroke using a rocker switch.

For MIG/MAG welding, the multi welding unit allows you a duty cycle of 60 % at full power of 200 A. If you reduce the welding current to 130 A, you can even weld with a duty cycle of 100 %. This makes the combination welding machine universally applicable, equally useful for large steel structures or for smaller welding tasks. The wire feeder has a speed of 2 to 11.5 m/min and is designed for wires measuring 0.8 to 1 mm in diameter.

The TIG welding process of the PROXUS 200 uses lift-arc start to activate the arc. This process has the advantage over a high-frequency start of not influencing or incapacitating nearby sensitive electronic devices such as smartphones, computers or control panels. TIG welding is suited for most metals and can be used from a metal thickness of 1 mm. The welding current up to 180 A can be easily controlled via the control panel, and it is possible to weld in various positions, whether vertically, horizontally or overhead.

Flexible electrode welding without extra gas with hot start, arc force and anti-stick

No additional gas is required for MMA (Manual Metal Arc) welding, enabling you to use it outdoors even in strong wind. With this welding method, the welder generates a very stable current, all the while securely maintaining the voltage. This allows you to make high-quality welds on a wide variety of metals.

The VRD function ensures your safety when using the MMA method, especially when welding in humid environments. Additionally, the built-in hot start, arc force and anti-stick functions can be automatically activated for quick and comfortable welding.

Releasing the burner button initiates a rise in the current to that of the pre-set welding current. The welding process stops once you press the burner button again.
