Do not walk on the mat with heavily soiled shoes. Coarse soiling should be removed in advance with a brush. The disinfecting mat must be cleaned regularly; the frequency depends on the degree of soiling. We recommend cleaning the mat at least once a week, more often if needed. The mat can be rinsed with water and then cleaned with a squeegee.

A sanitizing mat should not be placed outdoors, as rain can dilute the disinfectant. The mat should also be placed such that people cannot simply go around it.
