The RCBM-5 bain marie from Royal Catering is perfect for keeping food warm, maintaining it at the right temperature for long periods of time. With the five Gastronorm (GN) containers, different dish components such as meat, potatoes sauce, or even soups can be kept warm separately. This type of heat-retaining container is ideally suited for sophisticated gastronomy requirements and is therefore perfect for use in restaurants, hotels, canteens, buffets, snack bars, cafeterias or in various grocery stores.
This bain marie impresses above all with its large filling volume. Each GN 1/2 container has a depth of 100 mm and holds up to 6 litres, thus allowing you to symultaneously heat and keep warm a total of 30 litres of food. Additionally, other GN container combinations can also be inserted into the Bain Marie with a maximum container depth of 100 mm, such as two GN 1/1 with one GN 1/2 container or six GN 1/3 containers combined with one GN 1/2 container. As a result, you can save a lot of time, which is particularly advantageous when preparing food for large events or for numerous clients in restaurants, canteens, hotels etc.
The five removable GN 1/2 containers, all 100 mm deep, as well as their respective lids are included in the delivery. Thanks to the entirely removable containers, filling them is much easier: You can simply fill each container directly at the cooking place and then return them to the bain marie. The lids ensure that even the food on the upper surface remains warm and protected from dust particles. Thanks to the stainless steel alloy, the containers and lids are dishwasher-safe.
The food is heated by convection, i. e. the heating element heats the water between the bain marie and GN containers and transfers the heat to the GN container. This method offers two main benefits: On the one hand, the food can be kept warm over a long period of time, and on the other hand, it is prevented from burning.
Operating this professional device is very simple. A green status light indicates that it is active. The control knob activates the automatic thermostat, which enables precise temperature control between 30 and 85 °C. As long as the unit is heating up, the orange control lamp also lights up. You can conveniently read and monitor the temperature over the large, digital display.
With high efficiency, the powerful 2.200 Watt heating element quickly heats the water in the high-quality basin and stores the heat for longer. If the water temperature drops or rises, the temperature automatically adjusts. This keeps energy consumption at a moderate level. If there is not enough water in the unit, the red control lamp lights up right away.
This bain marie combines a timeless design with a robust case, making it a convincing, reliable product. It is made of high-quality stainless steel. The material is very hard-wearing and robust, as well as corrosion and rustproof. It is also harmless to your health and, since it is easy to clean, particularly hygienic. Stainless steel also has excellent fatigue and impact resistance.
In addition, this bain marie is equipped with a cover made of safety glass. This can be easily mounted and dismantled. This ensures that the food is protected from dirt and impurities, while also being clearly visible for the customers; it is also easy to remove. As a result, you will have a comfortable service counter.
Quickly cleaning and maintaining this heat-retaining counter is also possible thanks to the construction and smooth surfaces. The bain marie is also equipped with a drain tap, which makes it even easier to fill it with water and drain it. In addition, four well-placed rubber feet ensure that the device is very stable and secure, without scratching the surface underneath. Lastly, the reinforced cable supports the safety of the bain marie.
