With the door lock mortiser from MSW, you can mill precise holes for mortise locks in no time at all. Thanks to the large clamping width and supplied drill heads, the product can be used universally. Whether carpenter, craftsman or private hobbyist, the simple and precise operation makes the Mortiser kit the perfect companion in the workshop and at home.
Precise, simple, universal - your Lock Fitting Jig from MSW
The robust steel construction is easily attached to the door with hand screws. Due to the high span of 35-100 mm and 3 different cutters with 18/22/24 mm, the kit can be used universally for door fittings.
Use either a cordless drill or a drill with a chuck diameter of 10 mm. Then mill precise recesses for door locks using the easy-running slide rails. You can mill to a maximum depth of 130 mm. The Mortiser Kit can be assembled as quickly as it can be dismantled. The necessary parts for mounting and measuring the hole depth are included in the scope of delivery.

Drilling heads
The drill heads are too wide for the locks. It would be good if they could be ordered in 10,12,14,16 mm. Otherwise the product is great

Which cordless drill is best suited for this?
You can use any cordless screwdriver with a chuck diameter from 10 mm. However, for best results we recommend a drill with at least 3000 rpm.
