Product Description

The petrol generator by your side

When you're on a job site, in a large manufacturing hall or at a shipyard, there's not always a power source available for your electrical devices. The emergency generator from MSW provides a reliable power source that's always on hand. Thanks to inverter technology, the emergency generator can also be used for sensitive devices such as a laptop or stereo system without damaging the electronics.

The safe, mobile power source

Thanks to its size and sturdy frame, the compact petrol generator is the perfect mobile power supply for on the go. The 3800 W motor is powered by a petrol-oil mixture, with a spacious 11-L tank available for petrol. The petrol motor stands out with its high energy efficiency, using just ≤1.437 L/h. This is made possible by an energy saver button, which regulates the output depending on the load. The motor has a practical pull start. At a load of 50 %, the generator achieves an operating time of 8 h. Despite the high performance, the unit is characterised by low noise emission.
You can connect devices with a voltage of 230 V AC such as electric drills, grinding tools, kitchen appliances, or light sources to the power generator. The emergency power generator also serves as a direct-current source for devices with 12 V and 8.3 A. With its different connections, the power supply is suited for a variety of end devices – and, thanks to modern inverter technology, also for sensitive devices that need to be protected from voltage peaks.
Multiple indicator lights ensure safe operation. You have an operating, oil and overload indicator at your disposal, so that you can keep an eye on all functions. The emergency power generator is also equipped with a short circuit fuse. The petrol generator can be coupled with another generator via a parallel switch to increase the output. The generator needs to be grounded for safe operation.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I change the oil?

The oil should be changed after 10 h of operation the first time. Subsequently, we recommend changing the oil after 100 operating hours. The exact schedule can be found in the operating instructions.

Should I prepare my unit for longer storage?

For storage, the fuel should be drained according to the operating instructions. Alternatively, it would be better to run the unit for 20 min every two weeks to keep all components lubricated even when it is not in use for a longer period of time.
