Hops are particularly important for beer production, as they not only give the beverage its bitter flavour but also clarify the drink with their tannins and improve its shelf life. Hop spiders ensure that the hops are perfectly distributed in the first wort. Simply hang the hop filter by its hook in the brewing kettle and add the raw hops. The hops release their bitter substances during boiling, thus providing the characteristic taste. Afterwards, you can simply remove the hop strainer and further process the wort directly, as the micro-mesh (60 meshes / cm²) ensures that all deposits remain reliably in the mesh hop filter. Thanks to its generous 36 x 10 cm dimensions, this hop spider from Royal Catering can hold hops for up to 60 L of wort, making it ideal for home-brewed beer.

The stainless steel hop filter has excellent properties thanks to its material, which is particularly resistant to corrosion, has excellent fatigue- and impact-resistance and is extremely hygienic due to its smooth, minimally-porous surface.
