precise power supply simply lacks a switch allowing not to cut everything to make certain connections that said it returns to its last setting -

Does what it's supposed to do

The lab transformer can be set very precisely and is an asset for jobs that require testing equipment. Value for the money. Only instructions were missing, but they were quickly found on the internet.

High voltage of 64V, correct current of 5A, Ventilation under thermostat makes use silent in 80% of cases. A synoptic view of this power supply would allow us to verify that it is indeed linear, because its weight dissuades us from doing so.

Given the price, I didn't expect such high quality. The voltage and current limitation can be perfectly adjusted using the coarse and fine settings and their values remain constant over days. The residual ripple is very low. Two devices can be connected perfectly in series. If the extremely shabby measuring lines hadn't been there, I would have given full marks. I would buy the devices again and again.
