Microcentrifuge - 12 x 20 ml - RCF 1,150 xg

Be it for industrial laboratories, research centers, or educational institutions such as schools, the SBS-LZ-4000/20-12 microcentrifuge from Steinberg is the ideal addition to your scientific equipment. This centrifuge is especially suitable for biochemical work with little sample volumes.

The conveniently quiet electric drive of this remarkably compact centrifuge has 180 Watts. By means of the rotor, the drive can simultaneously process twelve 20 ml tubes , with the positions of the tubes being numbered. The speed of 3,000 rpm is continuously adjustable and, when at maximum, it produces a relative centrifugal acceleration of 1,150 xg.

Thanks to its light, compact design, the electric microcentrifuge can not only be transported without any problems, but it also saves a lot of space in narrow working areas. The unit is equipped with a switch-off timer, which can be set between 0 and 30 minutes. Save yourself unnecessary waiting times by simply determining when the centrifugation should end automatically.

For those situations when the centrifugation time is over 30 min, a continuous operation is provided. During the centrifugation process, the device is remarkably stable, thanks to the four suction feet. Additionally, the plastic cover protects the samples from contamination.

Due to their higher inertia, solids, particles or process liquids and gasess with higher density will advance towards the exterior, pushed to the bottom of the tube. After removing the tube, you can simply decant the liquid.
