Incredibly versatile, our STYRO CUTTER 06 from MSW is ideal for cutting building insulation or thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS). Additionally, it is also perfectly suitable for rather detailed work such as the preparation of cables, pipe outlets, socket outlets, window reveals, precision cut-outs in model building, as well as cutting gable or roof window terminations, floor heating insulation and much more. Whether for commercial or industrial use, this cutter offers both high quality results and extraordinary work comfort.
Thanks to its high temperature of up to 500°C, this cutter effortlessly slides through insulation materials such as expanded polystyrene (ESP), extruded polystyrene (XPS), thermoplastic, PU foams etc.. Save up a lot of space thanks to our Styrofoam cutter: cut polystyrene boards to whichever size you want, to conveniently store them into cartons and the like.
During the cutting process the material is brought to the melting point to guarantee high-precision cuts. Right before cutting, the blade gets heated to the required temperature. Consequently, it effortlessly glides through polystyrene, all the while leaving absolutely clean cutting edges. The maximum cutting temperature of the STYRO CUTTER 06 is 500 °C, ensuring fast heating within seconds.
Flexibility is not lacking, thanks to this cutter's ergonomic one-hand handle, as well as its generous cable length (3 m). Furthermore, our proven technology guarantees not only an extremely compact, light and robust design, but also an incredibly easy to maintain product. The included blades are especially hardened and can easily be replaced by means of the included Allen key.
In addition to the Styrofoam cutter STYRO CUTTER 06, you will also receive a comprehensive range of accessories: 2 straight blades (200 and 150 mm), a cleaning brush and an Allan key for quick blade change. All components can easily be stored in and transported with the included case.

Cuts cleanly and does what it's supposed to. If you want a larger facade, then maybe something bigger is recommended. Other than that, highly recommended.

The Styrofoam cutter is perfect for shredding Styrofoam leftovers so that I can use leftover Styrofoam as shipping padding and not have to throw the Styrofoam away straight away.
