The valve spring compressor tool can be used on many types of cars such as Audi, Nissan, Toyota, Chrysler, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Porsche, Volvo, VW, and more. It is universally suitable for many petrol (OHV and OHC) and diesel engines with 8, 16, or 24 valves. In general, this makes it easy to change stem seals, valve springs, or valve wedges.
If you replace the valve stem seal pneumatically, you can pressurise the cylinder using the appropriate adaptor. This process prevents the valve from falling back, which not only makes the work much easier, but also allows easy replacement even with deep-seated valves.
The practical thing about this compressed air valve spring compressor is that the cylinder head does not have to be removed. The included pliers also enable you to easily remove even greasy or stuck valve seals. Knurled ends on the adapters, handles, and sockets ensure maximum grip in oily conditions. They also enable the right-angled removal of spindle oil seals without damaging the springs.
