We bought this pasta machine through a third-party seller but paid via Amazon Pay. This pasta machine was recommended to us by our Italian innkeeper. This is what she has in constant daily use. The machine, made in the Far East, weighs almost 20 kg (!), initially smells strongly of machine oil and has almost no plastic parts. Everything is made of solid, heavy metal. The gears are made of cast iron so there are no plastic parts. The engine is enormous and cleans everything up effortlessly, so it doesn't show any signs of weakness. It just gets a little warm after about an hour of use, but everything is still within the normal range. The machine hums a bit frighteningly, especially when the cutting roll is used, which is endlessly adjustable (included) from 3mm to 9mm pasta width. There are also alternative rolls (extras and relatively expensive), such as for round noodles (spaghetti). This is an industrial device designed for long-term use and not a fashionably overpriced fancy device for the household. You get used to the size surprisingly quickly.Big advantage in terms of operation: everything is operated from the front, which means that this pasta machine can be placed with the back against the wall and the space required is put into perspective.Cleaning: absolutely uncomplicated, remove the cutting ring and you're done!Thanks to the With the endlessly adjustable cutting olings (can also be adjusted during operation), you don't actually need any additional cutting accessories. This means the price is unbeatable compared to other devices. This pasta machine is designed to last forever and is insensitive. Negative: the workmanship of the housing is terrible.
