I checked the precision with all the calibrated weights available to me up to a total of 1000 grams and was totally amazed The scale was super accurate and showed a maximum deviation of 0.1 gram (with repetitions). In my experience, only expensive scales such as those from “Kern” can do this. Unfortunately, I couldn't test further over 1000 g. The scales have a sufficiently large weighing area of approx. 15x15 cm and are made of stainless steel. It is powered by 2 micro (AA) batteries. The display backlight is blue. The weighing units can be set in g, kg, oz, lb, tl, ct. Although the company "Steinberg" was completely unknown to me, the name made a very positive impression on me. By the way, the scale is correctly described in the title line on Amazon with an accuracy of 5 kg / 0.1g. However, the type designation is incorrect, The correct name is of course "SBS-LW-5000/100 Basic" as in the article photo.
