The housing is made of a sturdy, fire-resistant blend of honeycomb cardboard and Oxford fabric, with its outer walls forming a sealed interior space.

As laser engraving generates smoke, the protective hood is equipped with an extraction system. This system, aided by a fan, systematically directs dust and smoke particles out of the interior through a 1.9 m hose.
