The magnetic stirrer with heating mantle promises optimum temperature distribution
Thanks to the heating mantle, the magnetic stirrer SBS-LHM-500/H is ideal for round-bottom flasks which are often used for mixing liquids in laboratories. The shape of the lab heating mantle encases the round-bottom flasks and optimally transfers the set temperature to the entire liquid. This makes the device especially well-suited for preparing e-cigarette liquids.
Liquids in round-bottom flasks are fully mixed in the electric heating mantle
Round containers with a capacity of up to 500 ml can fit inside the magnetic stirrer's heating mantle. You can adjust the temperature and stirring speed via the control panel with two control knobs. The heating mantle with magnetic stirrer stands out with its rapid heating time and reaches temperatures of up to 450 °C. The stirring speed at which the magnetic stir bar moves inside the liquid can be set up to 1,600 rpm. Even viscous substances can be reliably mixed. The heating mantle and stirring function can be used independently of one another.
The heating mantle is firmly installed in a powder-coated housing and, thanks to its fibreglass construction, offers a secure hold for round glass flasks. The device is also equipped with three non-slip rubber feet to keep it steady even at high stirring speeds.
