I recommend the generator!

I recommend a generator, purchased for construction purposes and for later use in a single-family house. It was good at powering construction machinery. For the first month I used it at a load not exceeding 50% to run the engine better. During this time, the generator changed power very smoothly and generally responded quickly to higher loads. I was encouraged to purchase by the good price and a large number of positive comments on the forum on the topic "which generator to choose". The generator's weak point is that it is difficult to move, but for a stationary generator, I think it won't be a problem for most people. The instructions as in the comment below could contain more details, but I started the device without any problems and have been using it ever since and I must say that the device definitely deserves 5+. I recommend the product!

Have test driven it, have it as reserve power in our summer cottage, it handles the loads well and runs quietly. The only complaint was that it did not rotate correctly, but it was easily fixed if you are an electrician.

Backup generator

Works great, included more things than I expected. Also well packaged. Have tested the connections to the villa and operate everything I need to cope with heating, water supply and lighting in the event of a power cut

Does what it's supposed to do

One star minus because there were no instructions with pictures and, for example, there was no information about how much oil you should fill, etc.

First impression

The generator was delivered last Friday (7/30/21) in a really good transport box and really fast for a 150 kg chunk. Self-made from wood as a completely closed box with a pallet underneath for transport by ant, so far it's good. I then “finally assembled” the machine on the following Monday. The rollers have to be attached because the device stands on the axles in the box, which makes sense. Nevertheless, the first problem is how should they be grown? There is an operating manual included (it's also on the front)... But it only contains the usual safety instructions, well at least a link to the real operating manual. PDF download everything worked and in addition to the safety instructions there is also some documentation and instructions included. Unfortunately, it was extremely sparse and gave the impression that it was a Google Translator description, and the author certainly didn't speak real German. I was installing the wheels, but unfortunately in the "operating instructions" it says = 0 (no, I oh, but zero). Okay, I'm a trained craftsman in metal construction, I looked at it, unpacked the accessories, understood it, installed it, it worked and everything was there. So if you don't know how to do it, you'll have no problem ;-). The next part to install is the starter battery (12, 280A, absolutely okay, I would say). It doesn't say anywhere where it is located, but there is a well-worked maintenance hatch (really, flawlessly so far). The battery is behind it, tightly packed in foil and glued and perfectly secured in its holder. Unpack, connect the poles (oh, there are 10 screws/nuts in the tool bag for both), as I said, if you know how to do it, it'll be fine. Okay, according to the "operating instructions" the oil and diesel are drained completely after the test run, that makes sense. There is also a photo of the maintenance hatch already mentioned in the B (= operating instructions), the hatch is open, you can see what is "inside" and there is a white circle around the bright red dipstick (you could have actually saved that because until Only someone comes here who, if necessary, can find their way around without B (without praising myself)) and who will find the bright red dipstick again without the squiggle... Okay, oil quantity, it's actually in B, 1, 65 L, who would have thought. Well, you could have gradually found out for yourself drop by drop using the bright red dipstick (1.65 L, have fun with it...), but only if you know whether the dipstick should only be put on for measuring, or screwed in, because that changes the position. The B says nothing about it... Well, the pattern repeats itself, who knows how it works, so here's a tip. If you look at the position of the dipstick and... just know how to do it, fill it up until it (ideally) almost runs out, put the device on the scales beforehand. Close everything here, next step, fill in diesel. B says 14.5 L is enough for 7.5 hours full throttle, that would be good. Where it comes in is now really obvious if you overlook the truck fuel cap (unfortunately not lockable and of course not with a one-key system) (chrome on bright yellow and right in the middle (actually not that clever )!!).The reference in the B about bleeding the diesel line to the injection pump was really good and also really good with a very good description. Open the union nut on the supply line and close it again when there are no more bubbles. The terms oil and diesel are equated here, be careful! What B doesn't reveal is where to find said mother. But as I already mentioned, anyone who knows how to do it will figure it out. There are more flaps, they just have to be screwed on. Since we are looking for the line from the diesel to the injection pump, the flap on top was the first to open. We are now already far behind B and only those who now know what something like this looks like, what they are looking for, will find it and they will find it here. But I didn't use the nut, I just wanted to know if I knew how to do it ;-) So now it works quickly, diesel in, everything on go, choke pulled, let's see what happens with the diesel... (ah, It just occurred to me that B, as always, doesn't say anything about "choke" and wouldn't you have expected pre-glow?). Turned the key, started the starter and everything gave the mechanically robust impression of a properly built machine, it vibrated, life came into it, but everything felt in the mechanically green range, really good. I don't want to start, but I just thought of something at that moment. Who knows how it works, I thought all of a sudden (did I say that here before, huh?) and quickly put the choke back in. And lo and behold, with a few clouds of smoke, the diesel immediately speaks up and immediately runs smoothly and immediately stops smoking. Once again, you immediately get the impression of a neatly assembled machine that was also properly constructed. The engine runs smoothly without the slightest background noise. During the commissioning process, I also found a foot lever that looks out of the housing on the side opposite the exhaust at the bottom of the roller. A very robust looking piece of flat steel in a switch gate and we already had it, if you know how it works you'll find out, wheel brake, great! After a few minutes I put load on the device and a 2KW circular saw ran perfectly. The diesel was It didn't matter whether the saw was running or not, it just ran stubbornly without any change in the engine's tone. Summary: Mechanically, I have the impression that the device was built by people who know how to build really good machines. Anyone who is familiar with such machines will probably have fun, the thing really seems robust and is built in such a way that you can really use it. But if you have no experience with it and do not have a mechanical background, you should Think about it carefully. And I actually wrote this so that the provider can really revise the documentation so that it does justice to his product.Update: It's on the Ahr as of today
