Selecting the parameters is particularly comfortable, thanks to the clearly arranged control panel. The knobs and buttons for selecting functions and welding parameters are easily accessible and a breeze to use even when wearing welding gloves. The intuitive menu navigation allows you to effortlessly adjust the welding parameters such as pulse rate, gas post-flow time or welding current. All selected parameters are clearly visible on the LED display.
Thanks to its digital technology, the TIG welder has 10 job programmes available which you can set and save yourself thanks to digital technology. This way, there's no need to test your welding settings anew every time—instead, you can rely on your digitally-saved previous experience. The save button allows you to save your settings as job programmes and reuse them again and again.
This welder gives you the option of AC/DC TIG welding, so you can work with either direct or alternating current, depending on the metal. Alternating current (AC) is suited for light metals such as aluminium or titanium. Direct current (DC) can be used for welding more robust metals such as steel, stainless steel, copper or brass.
The Pulse function is particularly useful for welding thin sheets, especially those made of aluminium. It is also possible to select numerous parameters such as start current, base current or end current for pulsed current welding, and to optimally adjust them to the workpiece with the aid of the knob. In addition, the current rise and fall time, gas pre-flow and post-flow time can be set precisely for each welding situation and saved if required.
The tried-and-true Mosfet inverter impresses with its precise conversion of the selected welding parameters, thereby making perfect welding seams possible. In addition, it allows you to switch effortlessly between the typical functions of TIG welding, AC and DC mode and between 2 - or 4-stroke welding. The welding arc is activated via reliable high-frequency ignition (HF).
The welding torch produces few sparks or splashes during TIG welding and produces welding seams of high quality and purity that leave hardly any deformation. In addition, you can use the welder in various positions, whether vertical, horizontal or overhead.
No additional gas is required for MMA (Manual Metal Arc) welding, enabling you to use it outdoors even in strong wind. With this welding method, the welder generates a very stable current, all the while securely maintaining the voltage. This allows you to make high-quality welds on a wide variety of metals.
Some functions are automatically activated for optimal welding results. Hot start makes igniting the arc with a briefly increased voltage much easier.
The MMA welding clamp can grasp even large electrodes with a diameter of up to 5 mm. With the MMA welding method, you can weld materials such as steel, iron, cast iron, nickel or copper from 1.5 to 10 mm thick. The welding machine enables you to correctly install and maintain railings, stairs, gates, doors, containers or metal machinery.
The powerful air cooling system gives this device long-lasting reliability and durability. Two handles on the stable metal housing makes the device easy to transport, while the included hoses and cables with lengths from 3 to 4 metres allow maximum freedom of movement during welding.
