MIG/MAG Welder - 130 A - MMA - TIG Liftarc

The welder is operated via a digital menu on a large LED display. The potentiometer for the seamless adjustment of the welding current between 10 and 130 amps is part of this. Clearly arranged keys allow you to comfortably switch between MIG/MAG, MMA and TIG welding, or choosing the safety function VRD.

For MIG/MAG welding, a welding torch is already integrated in the device, so that you only have to attach the desired inert gas. When it comes to MIG / MAG welding, the welding seam is protected with gas: inert gas for MIG welding, and active gases for MAG.

MIG is used for welding materials such as magnesium, copper and other non-ferrous materials and their alloys. MAG, on the other hand, is suitable for steel, structural steel and most of its alloys. Thus, great welding seams can be briskly and efficiently manufactured with different thicknesses, ensuring that material distortion is kept to a minimum.

You can use the welder in a wet working environment, like an excavation pit or sewer systems, because the safety function VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) reduces the open-circuit voltage which automatically starts up at the beginning and switches back to a safe level when the work is down.

The HOT-START-function of the electrode welder procures an automatic and short-term increase of the welding current. Thanks to this “Hot Start”, the starting point is immediately heated to the optimal temperature and the electrodes do not clog. You get perfect welding results from the first try.  

The ARC FORCE and ANTI-STICK functions further optimize the welding results. The ARC FORCE regulates the arc sensor and adapts it to the perfect density for the respective material. The results are clean and durable welds.

The ANTI-STICK-function prevents overheating and the clogging of electrodes with the welding material through switching off the welding current. You do not need any protective gas. The MMA welder can be used and will work at great precision, even in adverse circumstances, for example with strong winds. This welding process is suitable for iron, steel including its alloys, cast iron, nickel, and copper alloys from 1.5 mm.

The 4m cable assembly (article 2727), that can also be ordered in our shop, allows you to add an additional welding mode to this welder: TIG welding with Liftarc ignition.  

TIG welding is for when you need or want especially clean welds, with minimal contamination, that are straight and leave sharp edges. There is no development of slags, therefore the device does not require additional cleaning. Sparks, splashes and open flames are reduced to a minimum.

Almost every metal and alloy can be welded, for example magnesium, copper, nickel, titanium and steel. Very thin materials, starting from 1 mm, can be Tig welded. You will beable to weld in many different positions, lying, over your head, vertically and horizontally. You’re always in control of the welding.
