MIG/MAG Welder - 350 A - 400 V - 2/4 Tact
The MIG/MAG welding machine S-MIG 350C by Stamos Germany was designed for a great variety of welding processes and professional applications. This robustly built and highly reliable machine has a powder-coated housing and offers welding current settings between 50 and 350 amperes for MIG/MAG welding and between 50 and 330 amperes for MMA welding. A thermal overload protection ensures maximum security. The Stamos S-MIG 350C has an input voltage of 400 V and combines two technologies in one machine. It uses an insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT). IGBTs are semiconductor components used increasingly in power electronics. They combine the advantages of a bipolar transistor with those of a field effect transistor. Because the IGBT limits the load current, the Stamos S-MIG 350C is less susceptible to shorting. IGBTs are an enhancement of vertical power MOSFETs. The two outstanding features of the Stamos S-MIG 350C are efficiency and first-class welding quality. From simple trade applications to the most rugged environment, it guarantees absolute reliability. The power fans of the Stamos S-MIG 350C ensure optimum cooling of the machine.
To start using the Stamos S-MIG 350C you simply need a 400 V high-power connection (the machine is delivered without a three phase plug). Thanks to state-of-the-art materials and a robust design, you can rely on your Stamos S-MIG 350C day after day in any production or construction environment.
MIG/MAG Welding: DC MIG/MAG inverter (350 A) for MIG/MAG welding with a welding current of up to 350 ampere.
Most common welding process in industry and trade applications. In this welding process which uses a shielding gas, the wire electrode is mechanically fed and used as a filler material. It offers a great variety of applications.
MMA Welding: DC MMA inverter (330 A) for MMA welding with a welding current of up to 330 ampere.
This simple welding process with an electrode uses no shielding gas and is also suitable for novices.

IGBT = insulated-gate bipolar transistor. IGBT is a bipolar transistor with an insulated gate electrode. This semi-conducting device is being increasingly used in power electronics because it combines the advantages of two transistor types: the easy controls of the field effect transistor and the fast switching and high breakdown voltage of the bipolar transistor. The IGBT also offers some robustness against short circuits because it limits the electrical continuity. IGBTs are a further development of MOSFET technology.
Show moreShow lessPowerful fans ensure an optimal removal of heat from the unit.
TIG/MIG and MAG welding require a protective gas. Inert gases, such as argon and helium, as well as active gases (for example carbon dioxide) and other mixtures can be used. The solenoid valve regulates the flow of gas. The valve is operated via a button on the torch.
Show moreShow lessOn the back of every welding machine is a screw with an earthing mark. Before use, earth the unit via a cross-section cable, which must be at least 6 mm².
This device works with a 3-phase connection (400 V +/- 10 %).
Start the weld by placing pressure on the torch button. Stop the process by releasing the button.
By pressing the torch button the solenoid valve opens. allowing the gas to flow in. The gas pre-flow ignites the arc at the pre-set current. Releasing the burner button initiates a rise in the current to that of the pre-set welding current. The welding process stops once you press the burner button again.
Show moreShow lessThrough automatically boosting the tension at the ignition of the arc, this function facilitates the electrical arc ignition. After ignition, the unit automatically returns to the pre-set voltage.
Show moreShow lessThe current value increases automatically when the arc is shorter.
This function helps to prevent overheating of the electrode by switching off the welding current when the electrode sticks to the material.
Along with the current change the value of the inductance is changed to reduce the amount of spatter.

Welding with wire feed in a protective atmosphere.
Choose between the 2T and 4T mode.
By using the SHIFT key the welding mode can be selected.
