The highly sensitive device automatically determines how strong different layers, such as paint or plastics, are on ferromagnetic metals. The simple operation and exact measurement results make the device a must in every car workshop.

It couldn't be simpler: You operate the paint measuring device with just one button. The paint tester has an integrated, highly sensitive probe. This measures accurately to ±3 % + 1 μm. Before the measurement, you adjust the device quickly and easily by means of zero point calibration. In the best case, use an uncoated sample of the substrate you want to measure. Alternatively, a smooth zero plate is also suitable.

With the paint thickness gauge you can check the thickness of non-magnetic coatings on various surfaces, for example on stainless steel, iron, aluminium or copper. The unit uses eddy current testing for this purpose. This enables you to perform non-destructive measurement with a high measuring range of 0 - 2000 μm. You can easily read the results on the clear LCD.
